Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Lift Me Up (Mathame Remix)
Moby
Deutsche Grammophon (DG)
out now
Comment
"Now Lift Me Up was released as the first single from Moby's seventh studio album Hotel back in 2005. However, the Italian brothers Mathame were inspired to remix it after listening to a brand new reprise version of the original track and think it represents a synthesis between power, death, and spiritual elevation."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 29.17 here
